Ali (Ngari Gunsa) Airport is the fourth highest commercial airport situated at an elevation of 4274 m above sea level. It started its services from 1 July 2010. Flight distance from Ali Airport that is a dual-use military and public airport serving the town of Shiquanhe (Ali) in Ngari Prefecture situated in the southwest of China's autonomous region of Tibet to Lasha is just 2 hours.
The sacred Lake Mansarovar is 200 km far from Lasha. Another holy Mountain, Kaialsh Parvat also lies nearby Mansarovar Lake. These sacred sites are the pilgrimage destination for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Bonpas all over the world. As road journey is quiet difficult from Lasha we suggest taking a direct flight from Lasha to Ali Airport to all the travelers.
Kailash-The Mysterious Holy Peak; The Holy abode of Lord Shiva and goddess Parvati, Mount Kailash is situated at an elevation of 6,714 m. It is a mysterious peak which is worshiped as a savior of entire universe by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains and Bonpas. These people define this peak in different way. Some called it as a Soul of Universe some as the abode of Gods and Goddess and some refer it as Jewel of Snow. The four prominent rivers of Asia namely; The Brahmaputra, The Ganges the Indus and The Sutlej also originate through this bulky peak.

23 July 2018 Day 01: After arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, the staffs of Monterosa Treks and Expedition receive our guest and escort them to hotel. In the evening time, guests will be taken to Pashupatinath temple to have divine view of Aarati.
24 July 2018 Day 02: In the second day, pilgrims will be guided towards Pashupatinath Temple for Rudra Abhisek, Hom and Panchamrit with especial worship of the temple. After that, we will move on to Boudhanath, Jal Narayan in Budhanilkantha temple for sightseeing. If we get enough time we can also visit Saga Shiva Statue and Doleshor Mahadev. In the evening, there will be briefing for Kailash Manasarovar tour.
25 July 2018 Day 03: This day early in the morning we take a flight from Tribhuvan International Airport to land at Gonggar Airport of Tibet. Driving 90 km from Gonggar Airport we reach to Lasha city and spend our night in a hotel.
26 July 2018 Day 04: On this day, we move for sightseeing of beautiful Potala palace, Bharkhor Monastery and Bharkhor Bazaar and other historical places. We will spend our night again in the hotel of Lasha.
27 July 2018 Day 05: On this day, we fly to Ali Airport (4500m) from Gongaar Airport. After that, we drive towards Mansarovar Lake for 2 hours covering 200 km distance. Looking at the beautiful scenario we reach the shore of Mansarovar for Mansarovar Kora (Circumambulation). Chiu Monastery at bank of Manasarovar Lake will be our place for stay during full moon night. (Full moon night in Manasarovar Lake)
28 July 2018 Day 06: Today in the morning we take holy bath in holy Lake Manasarovar and do Pooja and Hawan in the presence of Nepali Priest. During noon, we drive 40 km to reach Darchen and stay overnight in a 4 star Kailash Himalaya hotel.
29 July 2018 Day 07: In this day, we drive for a few minutes to the initial spot of Kailash Parikrama (Circumambulation) called Yamadwar and start walking to Dirapuk (4860m). The total distance of walking during Kailash parikrama is 53km. After we reach back to Darchen, we can walk or hire pony or horse up to 38 km. And, there will be a blue bus to travel remaining distance.
30 July 2018 Day 08: This will be a longest day to walk as we need to reach Zuthulpuk from Dirapuk. Climbing from Dirapuk we reach the Shivasthal, Ganesh kunda and finally the top of Dolma La Pass. It is the highest point of our journey that is 5636km. The walking distance from Dirapuk to Zuthul puk is 21 km which takes 7-8 hours. This is the most difficult day as we need to walk up to 18,600 ft. or 5636m. Gauri Kunda is clearly visible while descending towards Shapje Drakthok. Almost 1 and half hour walking down and reach Shabje Drakthok can be reached walking for about 1 hour 30 minutes and then we further move on to Zuthul puk following Lham Chu River.
31 July 2018 Day 09: We take our breakfast in the morning and walk towards Chongdo from Zuthul puk passing 6 km distance. From Chongdo, we take blue bus / Jeep to Darchen. We take our lunch and rest at 4 star hotel Kailash Himalayan.
01 August 2018 Day 10: In this day we move on to Darchen and take a flight from Ali Airport to reach Gongar Airport. We spend our night at Lasha city.
02 August 2018 Day 11: In this day, we fly to Kathmandu after having our breakfast at hotel. We spend our night in the hotel at Kathmandu.
03 August 2018 Day 12: This is the last day of our tour and there will be farewell to our dear guests. Then, they will be transferred to Tribhuwan International airport for returning back to their home country.

Oxygen is less at higher altitudes. The inclement weather and high altitude induces certain illness generally not encountered over the plains. Headache, nausea, lassitude, lethargy, breathlessness, general uneasiness [malaise], high irritability, light loss of balance, disorientation, incoherence and insomnia are a few. It is common to all irrespective of the age, sex and physical fitness. Gradual acclimatization is the best answer. Tranquilizers, sleeping dose and strong anti-biotic must be avoided. Some of symptoms indicate that the body mechanism is readjusting to new environments. The best idea is deliberately slow down all the activities and follows the following rules:
1. Chant a prayer or visualize everything around to suit your pleasant thoughts or put on the earphones
and listen to your favorite music, Bhajans, Shiva Mantra chanting etc.
